When i booked my cruise on Navigator of the seas i tried to find information on the family oceanview cabins and i couldn't. So here's what i thought about it. On the Voyager class ship there are 8 of them at the very front of the ship which means you have a nice view of the heli-pad and all those ladies who want to copy the Kate Winslet pose on Titanic foxes_279. The cabin is quite long and spacious, probably 12 ft wide (you have 2 of the round windows per cabin). As you walk in you have a small shower/toilet room on your right and on your left (opposite the shower room) you have a curtained off area with bunk beds and a small wardrobe. The right side of the cabin is lined with storage space with plenty of shelving and hangers. To your left after the bunk bed area you have a sofa bed (double bed size) my teenage daughter slept on this and said it was quite comfy.Walking past the sofa you then came to the queen size bed with 2 bed side cabinets on each side. There was a thick heavy curtain which you could draw across the width of the room to seperate the bed area from the sofa. My sons aged 17 & 12 said the bunk beds were fine and didn't complain about them. My daughter did ask if she could sleep in the bunk bed area one night as she was a bit fed up sleeping on the sofa. I would say there was plenty of space for us all and the sleeping arrangements were fine but there was one drawback and that was sharing a bathroom between 5 people. It was only a problem when getting ready for dinner as everyone wanted to shower and wash their hair at the same time. This meant having to organise /stagger shower times. When i cruise again we will get two cabins however, if i could only cruise by using a family oceanview cabin i would as it wasn't too bad and i'd sooner stagger shower times than have no cruise at all.foxes_279
