Hi everyone,

Back this afternoon from our Navigator cruise to the Canaries. We enjoyed it, but can't say it was the best cruise we've ever been on. I'll be doing a review in the next day or two so you'll be able to see what we did or didn't like!

My DH was ill on board and we spent quite some time in the ship's hospital, so that probably affected our view somewhat, although the medical staff were brilliant.

Can't say I like arriving back to such cold weather! :(

welcomesmi home! Sorry to hear about your husband Starbrightcrysmi Hope he's better soon!

As I write this my DD is at Southampton Docks waving Navigator off! Oriana has just set sail and Navigator is just about to follow. I'll be interested to hear what you think as we sail on her next July!

Interesting to hear retep13's comment. Glad we're not the only ones to be less than satisfied with Royal Caribbean. Anyway, will try to do a review today once I've collected my cats from the cattery and got the washing into the machine!

I intend to try and write a detailed review and will be detailing the things we did like as well as those we didn't.

Hi All,

I was on the same cruise as Retep13, and I thought it was brilliant, maybe that was because it was our first cruise so we've nothing to compare it with.

The ship was very busy, but the only problem that I could say I experienced was finding a lounger in the sun on sea days. The Windjammer was busy but we always found a table without having to wait. Entertainment in the theatre was first class and the food in the dining room was good without being over the top. Our cabin was superb as were our waiters and stateroom attendant. I will post a full review when I have time, but myself, my wife and 2 sons all agree that it was the best holiday we have been on and can't wait to go on our next cruise.

So glad you had an excellent time! eeksmi The sun lounger problem is pretty much the same on all ships on sea days! eeksmi We've always had a balcony cabin so a bit of our own outdoor space! foxes_279 Glad your comments are positive as I sail on her next July!!smilesmi

Sue

Don't worry - I'm sure you'll have a great time. I only said this wasn't the best cruise we've been on because I was comparing with what we've experienced before. That doesn't mean the whole cruise was awful, because it wasn't.

I've posted a review so as soon as it's on the site you'll be able to read all my comments. You'll see that a lot of them are positive!

Once you've read the review please feel free to ask any questions. I'll be glad to help.

Hello starbright, I think you will find a lot has changed on other ships, last year we were on a P & O ship for 6 weeks and it had no extras and also Princess has cut back, all ships ore trying to keep the cost down as well make loads of money.
