Can any body tell me what currency is used on board... I am thinking of getting some dollars exchanged before going on board in July, but as it sails from the uk a lot, I thought I would just check first...

Hi Mal - I think its dollars. We sailed Navigator of the Seas out of the UK and it was dollars back in 2007. I'm pretty sure that's what it will be. Might be worth a quick call to RCI just to check though.

By the by, her sister ship Brilliance is still our favourite ship so enjoy. bighug

What's the itinery?

Last time we went on IOS the girl asked whether we wanted the ship exchange rate or our banks? She advised that the bank would always offer a better deal but it might be worth checking that. They asked us at check in time. Hope that helps.

Thanks one and all,
yep I do think it will be in dollars, our last cruise was on the IOS, but this is our first from the eastern side of the country... looking forward to a smaller ship this time.... and we have gone for the balcony option..

Wonderful... we love the Jewel size ships. They are much more intimate and there is so much glass you really get the 'at sea' feel, more than you do on the NOS and IOS.
