Has anyone sailed on Caribbean Princess, if so what did you make of her.

Thinking of doing a Caribbean Cruise next January there seems to be some very good deals on Mini Suites.

Thanks.

Hi ....I think, but dont quote me, that jimmy has sailed this ship. I do know that he is very experienced on Princess. You might drop him a PM so that he can let you know. As I say I think its this one but I could be wrong...but either way as I say he is definitely a Princess fan and does far more cruises per year than is good for him if you ask me rollsmi

Some people get all the luck foxes_279

You can find jimmy's contact details in the members list at the top of the page if that's any help! smilesmi

LEESRE- I've sailed on her.... beautiful ship, we had a wonderful cruise.
Specially liked MUTS- movies under the stars, nothing like it sitting up on deck under the stars, lying on a lounger while they bring around hot popcorn and drinks, watching a film. Or in the daytime swimming in the pool directly underneath the screen.
Liked the adults pool on the back deck too.

We didn't have a minisuite thoughmadsmi
There's everything you need on board, and she is a huge ship.

When you get time have a look at www.cruisingthecaribbeanprincess.com
it's someone's personal website tribute to the ship. I spent many happy hours browsing his site before we sailed.
Cruise Director (Tim Donovan) and lot of the entertainments staff were British-I think he's still in charge- it was lots of fun and high energy.
I am not a sea food lover so had some reservations about the food, but I didn't go hungry- it just seemed that Lobster and Shrimp were always on the menu and they do have a big Seafood Buffet night, so I was looking for some meat and potatoes kind of dishes after a few days.
BTW - Princess Cays is the nicest of the cruiseline private islands.

Sorry Rex,
Havent been on her. Certainly will one day though. Have a great trip and tell us all about her when you get back.
Cruise Fairy ... I get the impression you enjoyed your trip.
Wakie ..... I dont get enough time at sea. I only travel to visit ports where Mary can browse shops and compare prices and styles. If a ship left port and spent 14 days at sea I would be quite happy. Its serious business this.

Jimmy , Yes I did- it's one of the best. Very elegant ship.
I'd like to do an all at sea cruise too- but in the Caribbean- nice smooth sailing foxes_279
I think I'll book one of the Southern Caribbean exotics on her in 2008.
