Cruise West will set off on two unique voyages across Asia in 2008. The company's 120-passenger vessel, Spirit of Oceanus, will explore the ancient capitals of Japan, China, Vietnam and Korea. Cruise West's ‘Hidden Treasures of Japan' itinerary will sail a round-trip from Kobe for 11-nights. Ports of call include Yakushima Island and Kagoshima on Kinko Bay. ''Hidden Treasures of Japan'' is available for cruising on April 13, 23 and May 3. The ''Grand Asia'' itinerary will depart on November 10 and 24, 2008 for an 18-night voyage. Ports of call include Kobe (Japan), Miyajima Island (Japan) and Danang (Vietnam). The voyage will include a visit with a Shinto priest in Miyajima (shrine island), tours of the peace parks in Hiroshima and the UNESCO World Heritage site, Halong Bay.
