Cruise Breakfast Habits

We usually go to the buffet... I like the dining room but it takes sooo long sometimes when you just want to get going... laughingsomuch

DH always has a cooked breakfast (sometimes two... changing his tee shirt and going back in so they dont recognise him laughingsomuch)

I like the freshly made omelettes for brekkie with lots of cheese... That or fried eggs on toast.

I also like the american bacon too... but not their sausages.

At home I rarely eat breakfast at all... so its just a cruise thing laughingsomuch

I've seen pictorial evidence!!! I just love a cooked breakfast I like the buffet, DW likes her poached eggs in the main dining room. so I compromise and have the main dining room buffet on IoS.

I do enjoy being served breakfast (much more civilised) but on Explorer it was nearly lunchtime by the time we'd finished!!! giggle

Well firstly, I didn't even have breakfast in the Dining Room - just stuck to the buffet and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it happysm

I think the day Wakie is talking about I had 3 maybe 4 breakfasts?? Id had a couple of servings of cooked breakfasts, then pancakes and syrup but i'm sure there was something else too? Will have a little think.

Have to say, Wakie introduced me to the omlettes and they were just YUMMY! In fact, making my tummy rumble now. Shame I can't get mine to taste quite the same tearssm

I have to say though, I don't normally eat that much but how could I resist???

Like many people I don't usually have breakfast when at home. Just a few coffee's to get me going. However when on board ship I love the REAL Hash Browns of American ships usually when in American waters, not the fried lumps that get get served in the UK and called Hash Browns. Also love Corned Beef Hash. Sets me up for the day. Now and again have gone for the Roll Mops, Cheese and Scrambled Eggs. munchessm

We use the buffet as the main dining rooms usually take sooooo long and it is not unusual for them to get the order wrong.

Time now to go and get a sunbed by the pool. blushredsm

I think it depends on how much time we have before doing anything... but we do try to go to the dining room for 'the service', as long as we have enough time then its fine, but if we have to get a move on, the the windjammer is the one...
