If using public transport Buy an all day (24 hour ticket) very cheap almost same price as one hour ticket of course me I didnt know this until later.

Kids under 12 go free if adult has 24 hour ticket happysm otherwise they need to pay didnt know this either.

The ferry that takes you to the folk museum and viking museum etc makes two stops again I didnt know this we got off at the wrong stop we wanted viking ship museum but ended up in the folk museum but this was very enjoyable. Viking ship museum is stop number 2tuttut

They take euros as well as other major currencies in most places as well as local currency and other Scandinavian countries currency. Except if purchasing tickes on board public transport

they had a little tour train they took euros or local currency on this.

Not really to be honest it was a city centre tour really but it was ok only lasted half an hour and cost 25 euros for three of us and took you the points of interest in the main city centre. but it was worth the money didnt take you the museums or anything but the transport links with the ferry buses etc was good regular service. Would never recommend ever doing a Princess tour as for example the tour they did in Copenhagen they charged almost three times the amount it cost us to do independently and didnt even include a wrist band for the rides in Tivoli gardens.

Its always useful to know what you can do under your own speed (so to speak). Me and Kev have got a lot more adventurous in what we can DIY on cruises now thanks to posts like this bighug XX
