Hi all again Ali is on the phone now talking to her mum .She was off at Villefrance yesterday but the sea got up rough and the Oriana had to leave and left 1300 passengers and a crew stranded until after midnight when it was calm enough to tender again. She thought they were either ging to be put up in a hotel or bussed to Genoa.surprisesmisurprisesmi

It was touch and go whether they would let us tender at Villefranche....the sea was quite choppy when we were there too. They let us off but were worried about getting us all back. This must be a common problem

Hi yeah there was so many romours flying about what they were going to do, they did try to send a tender back but it was sent back to port as it nearly went vertical and people were being sick and three people got hurt. The passengers managed to get back from 10pm and the crew got back after 12am. A lot of passengers were fine with it and i kept saying it could be worse it could be raining and stuck somewhere horrible! some people were starting to demand compensation or their money back for the cruise. But like we were saying P&O didnt do it on purpose. The ship sailed away to make it safer as she was dragging on her anchor then she moved round the corner and nearly hit rocks! it was a very exciting day for us all! Ali xx
