Celebration or Emerald?

We have done 3 cruises on Celebration and wondered how she compared with the Emerald. We have booked the Black sea odyssey for Oct 2008

we went on Emerald last year on the Adriatic/Aegean cruise and loved every minute of it. We have also been on the Spirit which is a bigger ship and not quite as old (I think)...We had an outside cabin on the Lido deck near the stern and could just nip out onto the deck there and sit on sunbeds if we wanted. The cabin was spacious, clean and soft furnishings looked fairly newish but furniture was a bit dated but not scruffy.

So in a nutshell Emerald is a 'more mature' lady but food, staff, entertainment was all excellent. We go on Celebration on 19th and have also booked Calypso for next year to do the Black Sea and Greek Islands areas (can't remember exactly which itinerary ) so you can see we like Thomson ships!

oh I should have said that I think Spirit and Celebration are very similar ships ..if not the same!
