If you are using a windows based computer and have microsoft office, you can use Microsoft office picture manager.
Just go to your photos on your computer and right click the photo you want to add to wakelover. Then choose OPEN WITH and select Microsoft office picture manager.
When the picture opens in MOPM click edit pictures. A menu appears on the right hand side. Select compress pictures and choose web pages.
This will reduce the file size making it easier to use on web. Also quicker to downoad. Remeber to SAVE AS, to save the new compressed picture and rename it compressed or something that will help you identify the original full size pic and the new compressed pic when downloading.
I hope this helps.

You may already have a photo saved on this site. You will have to remove it and add the new one.
Wakelover site only allows a maximum size for each file type, jpeg, gif etc and once you've met your quota you have to delete to add another.
I often find this when i want to add a picture or moving gif to a message. I have to delete to old one in my profile/signature area to be able to upload a new one!
Click on user cp at the top of the page and then open attachments at the bottom of the drop down list, see if you have anything stored in there. It may be whats preventing you from uploading a picture. If you have something stored there it will be using up your space, hence the reason you are getting the file to large or exceeds maximum file size.
