I remember reading once that if you got it right, it was cheaper to live on a cruise liner than an old peoples home!
How true it is, i don't know. I can imagine some private homes are very expensive, and not as interesting or as good service as being on a cruise.

My Mum's nursing home is £575 per week.
What will this lady do now that QE2 is no more?

I wonder whether she is rich enough to live on The World - I dont think I'd choose to live on that though if I had the money - I'd much prefer a proper working cruise liner... I'd probably just saunter from one to another... giggle
If anyone has the money to do this, I would happily chaperone (so long as I can bring DH, Ddog and Dfish!!! roflmao)
