Costa Cruises, 2 for 1

Was watching sky 3 yesterday (or staurday) and they were selling several Costa 2009 cruises 2 for 1 (thats two people travel for the price of one) with what seemed like very reasonable upgrade prices to outside or balcony cabins.

I am not sure if the prices quoted included travel to port as many didn't start in uk. There were several intineries to choose from.

Ummm Costa cruises, firstly you are correct price will most likely be cruise only & they mostly sail from Italy (sis went from Venice). They were getting the girls their own balcony cabin. It worked out cheaper to have the best suite on the ship for all 4 of them, what a choice. They didn't really enjoy the trip. Italians don't do queing any mealtime venue was a scrum. Any anouncements were put out in 3 different languages. They said they'd never do one again.

Didn't give us insentive to even try them.

I am used to the Spaniards not doing queuing and the Italians have the same Latin temperament. You see them in the shops here when costa comes in ...I always said I woud never try one but if it were 2 for 1..... I might be able to reconsider!!!!!!!!!!!

Wouldn't be enough to persuade me.... I have heard the same comments from everyone - what crosses my mind is what would things be like in an Emergency, if they can't even stay polite during a buffet.

Another thought, why do they need to do this special offer, I've never known other cruise lines offer 2 for 1 prices.

Maybe their cruises are not selling too good.
