Island Escape or Ocean Village 2
Just wanted peoples thoughts mum is thinking of doing a cruise later in the year on one of theses two ships (but dont tell dad he doesnt know of this plan yet 24smi).
She was on the Island Escape last year and enjoyed it but has always fancied the OV so anyone done both these ship or either of these what was your thoughts on them.
Any opinions greatly appreciated

I've done OV1 and Island Star.....so is that any good Donna? If I went as a couple again I think I'd choose OV over Island but if we went as a family then I think Island would have the edge. Mind you as they are pretty similar then price would play a key part! foxes_279

They were going to take Johnathan but he likes to swim, sit in the bar and drink, eat and sleep and moan if we are going on a shore excursion before sunset foxes_279and sit in the bar and do some more drinking

Well the casual style of cruising would suit him then.....eat when you want etc! OV has an adults only pool.....they only service cabins once a day so he wouldn't be disturbed too much! foxes_279

They just come in usually morning to clean, make beds, change towels etc....no bed turning down, more towels if needed etc......one cost cutting feature I suppose. On Island there were 2....morning and evening whistlesmi
