Wedding / cruise update

On xmas eve I heard a cheer from the kitchen, the Daniel came in with a big beam on his face, we have our brochere for the excursions on our cruise but as most of you know the crusie we are going on will also be our wedding and honeymoon.

There are lots of great trips we have found which we like including dolphin and whale watching, a rain forest waterfall trek, Dan wants to go on the quad bikes to see St Kitts but i may go on the senic railway, and the last day in the Caribbean we are going for a relaxing day on the beach with lunch and drinks included, Its getting ever closer infact only 3 months and one day and we will be Mr & Mrs I just cant quite believe how quick the time is now going.

We have all the flowers, resturant, photos, hair make up, drinks reception etc etc booked think all there is to do now is wait.

I will keep you all posted as to anything else that happens.

What is your itinerary?

Just had to get info out as I know what places we go but not in what order so here goes,

We leaving Reading about 4 in the morning on 21st march to get to Gatwick then we fly to Barbados to meet the ship sail daily to the following ports Grenada, St Lucia, St Kitts, Tortola, then we are at sea for 7 days then we stop at Maderia.

We get married on the 27th which is the 2nd sea day, exactly 3 months today, I must admit im starting to get quite nervous now, but excited all the same.

Im quite an impatient person, so I try not to get to excited as I want it here yesterday, but at the moment im enjoying picking the things we want and sorting a few bits for the reception in August, I like to be to organised sometimes in a way thats why its good were doing it on board as that way i dont stress myself out before we go.

We have met a lovely couple who we got chatting to on cruise connections after they posted wanting to talk and meet other cruise passengers that were on thier cruise.

This also happened to be the cruise we are getting married on and so we contacted them. A couple of weeks passed and we were invited round for dinner. We all got on so well that they are due to visit us in a couple of weeks and we have now invited them to the wedding and the wedding breakfast on board.

Not long to go now, and only a couple of weeks till the hen & Stag nights!

She was really poorly at the beginning she was sick all the time she is a little on the cuddly side so to speak, but she lost over a stone in the first 8 weeks of being pregant now she has tablets to stop it, her back is hurting her as well now but she is happy.

Bride2b is off for an 80's weekend at Butlins. I think there is 11 of them going. It's an adults only weekend with all the entertainment thrown in.

On one night Keith Harris & Orvil are the head line act, and i've heard his adult shows are very funny.

As for me, well i'm of up to London with 16 friends in a stretch hummer limo. We have tickets booked for the comedy store, table booked for planet hollywood and then we will finish the night in Spearmint Rhino before returning home in the limo.

Bride2b left this mornig for work at 6am, and that will be the last i see of her until Monday.

B2b will travel straight from work to meet friends in Wisbech to stay the night and then travel on to Butlins at Skegness Friday morning for her hen weekend.

I have sent her with the camera so hopefully lots of photos on her return of the fantastic 80's entertainment and sophisticated, sober 24smi elegant and refined weekend i'm sure they will have, after all b2b knows how to behave.

I'm off up to London in a stretch Hummer Limo, followed by a night of drinkbeersmi, comedy(comedy store)24smi, food (Planet Holywood)snacksmi and dancing (Spearmint Rhino)wigglesmi. A typical lads stag night.

Sunday will consist of a great big fry up and then probably to the pub at lunch time to catch up with everybody from the night before.

It's the day after and i have survived!mexicanwavesmi

it was a fantastic night. Hopefully will get pics on Facebook later and memory is still fairly intact, just killed a few of the slower brain cells with beer, cider, champagne, vodka, apple sours, rum, sidekicks etc etc. Ok probably killed more than just a few, but it was a very good night!

It was vodka jelly lime flavor, it was very nice. Had an orange one to.

Apparently it's the most requested Limo that everybody wants, but the price normally puts them off. The company we used has a sister company up north and they are taking a delivery of the first ever areoplane limo. I will see if i can find a picture and add it to this post some time today.

The hummers are great as they can carry a lot of people compared to an ordinary limo, we were allowed to take upto 20 passengers.

All down one side was a bar with what can only be discribe as an ice pit underneath containing 4 bottle of champagne and soft drinks. Theres was a full sound system on board, colour change ceiling lights, t.v and dvd player and some strobe type things.

It certainly was a head turner and every time we stopped in traffic somebody photographed it.

Bride2b and i (thinking of some new names on our return) decided to have a practice pack on Sunday, mainly all our new clothes that we wont wear until the cruise! What i can't believe is i think i have more outfits than my wife to be 24smi However i hope that bride2b out does me with the make up bag or could have some explaining to do 24smi

It's only a couple of weeks now and the last of the outfits are on thier way to the dry cleaners, the wedding dress is almost finished and should be packed ready to transport next week, and my suit is hanging in the wardrobe until the last moment.

We have been told that we have an extra baggage allowance because of the wedding and so hope we wont incurr any extra charges. I think thats about it, we just have to make sure we get there!
