A gem of a cabin aboard Ventura
This cabin is quite a long walk to the lifts for going ashore. This is not really a problem though, as the exercise was much needed in keeping the pounds off. There are also lifts close by which serve all other areas other than the disembarkation floors.
Club Havana is immediately below and we suspected that we may hear late nightnoise. Our fears were unfounded, although there is a slight throb from the engines. We did not find this to be a problem though, in fact it was quite soporific.
Advantages are that it is at the end of the corridor, so there is no passing traffic, other than for two rearward facing cabins. The balcony has a ceiling, provided by the D deck cabins above, which are totally exposed. And, this was areal gem for us, the balcony is huge. It is almost twice as long as its neighbour, and gives a rearward view, as well as the extensive side view, andis the same price as its immediate neighbours.
This may not suit people who are hyper-sensitive to the noises of a ship at sea, but we would not hesitate to book the same cabin again.
